honkylips

I recently aquirred a new domain name: honkylips.org. I have no idea what I’m going to put there….maybe Jay will scan a giant honkylips drawing for us all the admire.

Either way, I gave Jay a new email address: jaymontiel at the domain name listed above. that domain name is obviously honkylips.org, but I don’t want to print his email address or he might get attacked by the outter space email collecting spam-o-botica.

Becky Sold a Photo from Red Boy!

photo taken by BeckyWho would have thunk it? Apparently the Red Boy crowd digs Becky’s photographs, which have been on display there since my record release party. She sold a photograph to one of the customers there. I don’t think it was a regular. Way to go Becky!

Oh yeah, if you wanna learn anything about donkeys, click here.

Belgium

German train workers Our first weekend in Europe, Richard took Laurel, Barbara, and I to Belgium. We travelled to Brugge , where we got to see Lisa Loeb perform.

We also used the trip to do some team bonding, and had a little meeting discussing our group’s future direction. I’m pretty excited about the possibilities.

Click on the picture in the above right to see more photos from the trip.

Laurel’s got the body that rocks the party

Laurel and Jay had fun with the art of pseudo-tattoo. Here in this picture you can see the girl in it’s full glory. Amazingly, days later the tattoo still looks like a dream. I have to wonder what kind of markers Jay used.

The tattoo has everything from donkeys and ducks to stars and maple leafs. Is this a self portrait of the artist? Put in Laurel’s words:

i especially like how the artist painted himself in there among the nusto animals and such - it gives in an extra degree of radness
That’s all fine, but how does she know if she’s never actually seen it?

Thinking about doing something like this yourself? All you need is some colorful markers and a nice block of raw flesh to mark up. As Laurel says:

it’s a pretty dreamy tattoo… and it didn’t hurt a bit!
