I can’t help but feel guilty…
So I’m in Boston for the week. I’m having a great time, but it seems like the feline poplution isn’t doing so well. Sheera’s kitten died this week; Noah’s kitty, the famed Wrudis, just passed a way; and as if that wasn’t enough, Laurel’s kitty died as well. A small part of me has to question what role I’ve played in this whole turn of events.

Where the end of the sidewalk begins
MusicI know it’s a cheesy title, so what! I put this girl together about 2 weeks ago, and at the time I had been practicing trumpet for about 2 weeks so I used guitar effects to mask my crappy trumpet tone….feast your ears on this:

Blow your headphones!
MusicI’ve been keeping myself pretty separated from the internet recently. It’s real nice, especially when you consider I also haven’t had a cell phone for several months. Either way..if you’ve been missing me from your buddy list, I’ve been keeping myself busy making music. Right now I’m not really focusing on polishing things up, just sketching out ideas. Keep checking back, because I’ve got several songs cued for upload.
The first track I present is about camels. While in Germany, Laurel and I visited the Stuttgart zoo. I use the term ‘visited’ liberally here, we actually just walked along the outside fence (vegans don’t go to the zoo silly!!). At this zoo, we saw camels. It is my personal opinion, that camels belong to the same exclusive family as donkeys, llamas, and other super cool mammals.
The tune isn’t really finished yet…as I said before it’s just a sketch. I’ll probably add some nice horns and build the arrangement up a bit, but for now….enjoy this:

Mr. McDowell goes to Sacramento
I took a sweet trip to the California State Capitol. I was visiting a friend, who actually works on the second floor. It was great fun, and his new roommates seem like nice people (despite the fact that there’s a picture of one of them shaking Arnold’s hand above the TV).
