I realize that most of my friends use MacOS X, and therefore surf this site with Safari. That’s cool, you guys are off the hook. Still, when I view the stats, more than half of the hits are from MSIE/Win. So here’s my message to all Internet Explorer users, “It’s time to switch.”
Mozilla Firefox (which used to be called Firebird) is a much better way to view the web than IE. It’s got popup blocking, it’s got a download manager, it’s got tabbed browsing, it’s got a built-in google search bar. All this and more. To top if off, Microsoft has announced they won’t be updating Internet explorer until the next version of windows (about two years). That’s an insanely long time!
So what are you waiting for?

i like it a lot, actually. although i can't get the slowchildren icon to show up in my toolbar like i can with the livejournal icon. what gives?
I've been using Firefox for three months and I couldn't be happier. I've tried Netscape and Opera before it, and take it from me, Firefox kicks BOTH their asses. GET FIREFOX NOW unless you enjoy the self-installing spyware browser toolbars, the constant security updates that only open more holes, the drag-n-lag, standards-breakage, and supporting a software company that got to where it is via predatory business practices and breaking anti-trust laws hundreds of times.
