Pizza in the sky

I was wandering through the web when I happened upon this post about baskets and ropes.

It reminded me of this pizza place my friends ate at quite a bit when I was living in Havana. If I remember correctly, it was right next to the University, and I think they called it ‘pizza in the sky.’ I never got to partake, being vegan and all (btw: I don’t recommend Cuba as a vegan friendly travel destination).

The street, from my window Now I’ve been doing some thinking. My apartment window looks out over Hemenway St. here in Boston. If you know the area, you’ll know that just a block up the street is ‘Little Stevies’ the shadiest late night pizza spot in town. Well they’ve got some competition now. My prime location, combined with a pizza stone, my Red Boy experience, and some clever vegan know how…add up to quite a joint. Plus, I’ve got an inside source for all the recipes at veggie planet.

So here’s how it works:

  1. You paypal me some money.
  2. I recieve your order, and start making the pizza
  3. You stand around on Hemenway St., below my window.
  4. When the pizza is ready, I’ll just send her down in a basket (on a rope).

Oh, and if I’m not home when you make your order…well…tough.

would you really send me down a pizza in a basket...that would be totally awesome...enough to send you money through the internet without the prior knowledge of who you are...crazy!

Yeah, assuming I have some dough laying around. If somebody seriously wants pie, it's probably a good idea to give me a day's warning...but I think I can live up to this.

I'm telling you, I make some of the best pizzas in Boston.

That would be one of the coolest things around if you actually did that. It gives one an idea though. Have a great day, and good luck. Kaila
