10 degrees Fahrenheit is actually warm
I awoke this morning at a friend’s place, and got to trudge home knee deep in snow. Thankfully the T is still running.

My Pedal Steel Debut
Today I made my first recording with the pedal steel guitar that I’ve been playing for about two months now. It’s a very rough demo featuring just me and brother Richard (of Short Film). It’s painfully slow, but if you try hard enough you might just find a beauty in that hesitation. There’s actually a few more musicians in this revival group, and we’re going to be recording a much nicer version in the studios at school with the whole congregation. I’ll keep you all updated, but first listen to this beautiful 24kHz recording:

B is for Boston
I’m back in Boston and it’s really really cold. Right now it’s 3º with 15 MPH winds. Don’t you wish you were here?
I’ve been struggling with what to put on this website. I’m not really the type of person that’s going to share all the details of my life here, and I’m not really into goofy pictures of my friends. I usually wait until I have something that really feels worth sharing (this post is not a great example). Sometimes I wonder though…if I keep waiting, maybe I’m preventing whatever I’m waiting for from actually coming.
So, being that it’s a new year and all, I’m going to lower my standards of what’s worthy of being published and just start putting stuff up. Looking back at some of my past entries it seems as though I can’t do too much worse than I already have. But really, I’m hoping that if I get back into the habit of posting regularly it will be easier to find interesting things to share with you all.
Oh, one more thing: Noah keeps telling me he wants you all to pay more attention to this.
