So, my friend Bridget Kearney was one of the two winners chosen jazz category of the John Lennon songwriting contest. It’s a song that I recorded a while back with her band Lake Street Dive. The drums are kind of out of phase, which is embarrassing, but it was a very rushed session over spring break with no assistants.
